Restorative Yoga


Restorative Yoga is a practice of allowing the body to relax and rest deeply, restoring the nervous system. We use props to support us in passive backbends, forward bends, and gentle twists, as well as a restorative inverted posture, which reverses the effects of gravity. Guided imagery, breath awareness, and the use of props supports us in our total relaxation. Restorative poses help relieve the effects of chronic stress, and unwind layers of holding and tension in the body and mind, allowing you to soften into a receptive state.
